How to use Koromaru
Before I go over other aspects of Ken you should learn how Koromaru works.
Firstly Koromaru only has negative edge on 5C/2C everything else works on button press not release.
Koromaru always sits behind ken, if you use Koromaru to attack he will always default to trying to get behind Ken like at round start.
What this means is that when you move around Koro will try to follow you, even if Koromaru is off screen he will track to you.
The only exceptions is when you hit the D button, Koromaru is off screen, or you are getting attacked.
If you are being hit or are blocking Koro will stop mid action and wait until you are out of hit or block stun.
These rules include using Koromaru EX moves as well.
Koromaru also does a back flip on every attack on block the exceptions being 5C, 236CD, and 214CD.
Note: Koromaru bounces back when he does 5C but he stays much closer to the opponent
