Yosuke Hanamura

Slippery speedster with a carefree attitude

Yosuke's objective:

Yosuke's goal is to beat his opponent by attacking in angles that you can't anti air and to approach either as a punish or with his persona 5D/j.D forcing you to block first.

Kunai (j.2A) is also is also another harassment tool used to get free hits on opponents far away.

His move set is specially made to trick you while taking very low risks and you must learn to mitigate it.

He is also very good at staggers and pressure resets making it very risky to poke him off with 2A. (his 5A is 5F)

Combine this with his 5D, J.D and you create a character who is very good at opening you up easily.

What Yosuke wants:

Yosuke's game plan is to be very evasive and annoy you into either making bad decisions or forcing you to block certain things for free approaches he doesn't do high damage without fatal so he is gonna beat via "death by a thousand cuts".

Tools:

Dash spring:

Yosuke sprints into a run and dashes into you performing a back flip off of you, he can special cancel into moon sault from here mainly used to quickly approach characters or end a block string.

A version he stays on the same side when he flips off of you.

B version he flips behind you, the B version start up is also much slower which helps you tell the difference.

SB version has projectile invul (not relevant to the match up really)

J.2A/B/AB:

He throws Kunai at you at specific angels from above.

It is punishable with 236A/236AB if you are ready for it.

A version throws the kunai some distance below him but not too far.

B version throws the kunai very further hitting the corner of the screen.

SB version is like the A version but adds poison on hit.
