Defense

Ken's defense is his weakest point since his DP doesn't have good horizontal hitbox.

His fastest button is 6F (2A) and both thunder reign and super cross is beaten by rolls

Still his awakening super (super cross) is really good for sniping any air movement around ken.

and both thunder reign and awakening super is really fast.

The best thing about Ken is that Koromaru is a ever looming threat and if your opponent backs off or you manage to escape you can use Koromaru to harass your opponent with 5C/2C.

Since dog can be negative edged you can hold the button down and release right before you choose a defensive choice (roll, jump, mash, etc)

This puts Ken as an outlier since he can use Koromaru with other defensive tactics (Option selects, super jump)
